tonyTony Mandella gets his first National event win in Comp. Tony’s .012 light and .492 under was all he needed to hold off Alan Ellis 6.643@204.54. Tony now has seven NHRA National event wins.

 

 

 

 

Super Stock:

Jimmy-DeFrank2Jimmy DeFrank doubles up at the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals. Jimmy’s .018 light and 9.070 on 9.060 dial in gave Les Norton little room to get it on. Les was .025 on the tree with a 9.394 on a 9.38 dial, .014 over his dial. Jimmy has 16 NHRA National event wins, 2 in stock and 13 in Super Stock.

 

Stock:

Jimmy DeFrank does it again, the second double up in his carrier. Jimmy with another great light .017 with 10.941 on a 10.90 dial in holds off Brad Burton’s .033 light, 10.926 on a 10.90 dial in.. Both drivers were pedaling before the stripe. Jimmy made it close taking the win by only .0019.

 

 

 

Super Comp:

tommyphillipsTommy Phillips with a .004 light and .01 over takes out Ryan Cook’s .018 light dead on with .008. Tommy adds one more to his total NHRA National event wins with 30.

 

 

 

 

 

Super Gas:

mikeMichael Miller gets the win with a .032 over and a .014 light as John Whitmore breakouts by .017. Michael wins his 5th NHRA National event along with being a past champion at the Strip.
