Sources tell us that the Factory Stock Showdown cars will be slowed down. How they might go about doing this is still up in the air. They could make a pulley change, a spec throttle body or even a rear gear change. There was even talk to cap the et at 7.90, although this is not very popular with the teams. NHRA took data logs from all the teams at the Gatornationals along with asking what rear gear ratios are being used. One thing we do know, the Cobra Jets will see a change for sure after their top 5 qualifying this past weekend.
