Fred Polumbo’s ’64 A/SA Dodge 426 Max Wedge
The best engineered award at the Northeast Division NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series at Cecil County Dragway was a stocker, not something you see very often. They like tube frame stuff and because it is stock its hard to stand out enough to win this award.
At this event it was a no brainer, from the first minute I saw this car I knew it would happen. As they say, sometimes words can’t describe what you see and this car fits the bill. Fred Polumbos’s A/SA 64 Dodge 426 Max Wedge is just a piece art along with history. Built by young Eric Bardicoff, no details were spared and only ‘new car’ bugs kept it from doing well this past weekend. Make sure you check it out at our next event .
