That's a std ratio for a 9" Ford maybe available for other center sections now as well. If not, you have one custom made. I've had custom gear sets made for 5 speed transmissions that you could not buy off of the shelf.

My question about a 6.00 gear was based on his statement of a 305 Stocker. He said:

"why would I put a 6.00 gear behind my bb/turbo400 combo?

That said, we've got that gear behind a 305 stocker and count it amongst those that ain't clicking it off at the stripe!"



I don't know of any LEGAL 305 powered stockers that use a Ford 9"
