Crutchfield was assured an entry into Pomona based on his points position previous to Pomona. I don't think was really a "driver change". Sharp could have just withdrew from the race and choose to let his car sit in the trailer. Crutchfield could have shown up with his own car or borrowed someone elses. Crutchfield apparently accepted the gracious offer of Mr. Sharp and saved some money by not hauling his own car across the country.

All this abuse of the system by sportsman racers talk had to come from our dear friend graham light. It sounds very similar to the language he used when he changed the entry rules a few years ago. At that time he accused the Sportsman racers of abusing the race entry system by entering national events with the intention of not showinng up??? He said for that reason he was going to keep our money for being lowly worms who did not show up at a race. Excuses were not accepted. Two years later they came up with the Internet entry system.

Just more of the same from the clowns who are allowing the professional racers super-sized motor homes to encroach on our pit parking area. These motor homes are only used during the day - I guess they use them for make up and mousse jobs. And then they go out to the fancy hotels at night.

It was posted on SS. Again, things that make you go hmmmm. Is NHRA trying to cover their butt for some interesting calls their people are making at some events?
I think Crutchfield explained how things went down! I understood him perfectly!

Stock eliminator should go back to where the engine needs to match the car/body style and vehicle year claimed. Sorry, but no NHRA stock or superstock racer wants Joe weekly bracket racer showing up with his bracket car and running an IHRA national event in stock or superstock, which currently they can do. Again, align the IHRA classes with the NHRA classes and you will get the cross over traffic. I know.
Who cares what class car is in the other lane? If it's legal for that class in IHRA then deal with it! If you let things like this bother you when you decide to go to a race, or not go to a race, then you're already beaten before you get there!

How many NHRA Super Stockers are going to be pissed and complaining when the imports start running in 09??? I'm licking my chops!!!

Ed I love how soon you come up with racer stats . Bryan I love your attitude, after all its still bracket racing until a heads up. Then again you two guys dont have anything to worry about there either. We love to see you guys come over to IHRA. As I recall you both have great track records (no pun there). Hope to see you guys next year.

My name is Chad Mahlosky. I live at 507 Paradise St, Greenville KY, 42345. I race a 1972 Nova G/SA. I mostly run local combo races at Beech Bend, the LODRS at Beech Bend, the Sportnational Open @ BB. In previous years I have raced the LODRS @ Memphis, Indy. I am young(28 yrs), got married this summer, bought a house, and have a baby on the way. Time and money have been tight, especially with the high fuel costs. I did lose the first round at the only points race I went to this year, actually to Jim Boudreau. But I did win the combo season points here at our track, with IHRA and NHRA cars there weekly.

I don't really understand how you could take my previous post as negative. Beard understood what I was trying to get at. Ed, I have to wear a 5 point harness, jacket, and now pants, because I drive a real race car. I keep 3 or 4 grade points per year, but I do what I do because I love it. And who is tpoh815??? A superstar I am sure. Anything else you jackasses want to know??? Just ask.
