I am a little confused by the last comment. What does NHRA have to do
with a privately held LLC company? I'll be interested to find out.

Add me to the list. I ordered in February, they took my card number and charged it in March. Still no product. Every time I call they say next week!! It is ridiculous.

Another company should step up to make the same shields. It's a missed opportunity for companies like Harwood that can make the molds and apply the carbon fiber.

It's not like the issues at CSR are a closely guarded secret.

There can even be some improvement, like relieving the shield 1/4" for a 727 proflight so you can get at the band adjustment without having to remove the shield.....

My experience has been most shields require some trimming and/or added tunnel clearance to fit and improve cable routing/stability. Subsequent recert by the manufacturer is therefore a no-go. Combined with drilling to permit easy band adjustments I’ve resorted to cheap SFI blankets around the shield, again that’s much easier of course on a Super Stock car.

Spotty experience with CSR, not inclined to roll the dice with them or the MSD repair in the Charlotte area.

The shield itself is really nice. Why they decided to partially cover the band adjustment is beyond me.

You're exactly right. Relieve that area 1/4 inch just at the band bolt and you're out of luck to get it recertified. It's insane.

Has anyone gotten their products from CSR? I was charged March 1, 2023 for my transmission shield. Constantly being told next week. I bought a blanket from Ken Keir and it is great quality and he was awesome to deal with. However, I would like to get my shield. I opened a dispute with CC company today. Just wondering if anyone else has had any success?

My son ordered a shield from them. They charged his credit card the next day. They said it would ship in a month. When he checked after 2 months, the reasons (excuses) why it had not shipped started. After 6 months he called and told them to cancel his order and reverse the charge on his credit card. They did not reverse the charge after a week so he started calling them EVERY DAY until they finally reversed the charge. This outfit appears to simply be in the scam business.
