Beware of CSR Performance
I ordered a water pump and fittings from CSR in December of 2021 to have as a spare. My credit card was charged for the water pump and fittings in that same month.
After several phone calls to them in 2022 I finally asked for my money back in August of 2022. It is now September of 2023 and after 6 phone calls that I have made to them this year I still have not received a refund. Every time I call them they promise that a check will be mailed to me. I'm sure that I'm not the only one dealing with false promises from this company. |

Thank You for the warning. It is much appreciated. If you ever dealt with Meziere , you wouldn’t be dealing with CSR. After 20 years I felt guilty and sent my Meziere SBC water pump back to California for a look see. Excellent products, competitive pricing and excellent customer service !!!!!

Funny Story. One year I won the Chicago points race and Randy Wilkes won the National event.Randy and I decided to ride home together. He drove his MH and I rode shotgun. It's a 8 hour trip home for us from there and on the way home we got to talking about contingency. I happened to mention CSR was the worst. I explained that I had made what seemed like dozens of calls only to be told (just like you) the checks in the mail, only to be told a month later, it's going to be cut next week, only to be told a month later some other ridiculous answer. He spoke up and said " you mean ( I cant think of her name but its the girl that wrote the checks and I think she was related to the owner. Maybe his daughter) Randy and her had been "friends" LOL.
The next time I called I mentioned I was good buddy's with Randy and how we had rode home together and her name came up. She bout went off "You know Randy !!!!! OMG!!!", Funny thing, I had a check in three days... |

you're many years late with your warning as CSR formally CSI has been bad with customer service as well paying contingency. when they were a contingency sponsor.
As has been said, Meziere for anything cooling system related and flex plates too. |

I ordered a transmission shield in Feb of this year. Nothing yet. Will not return phone calls and hasn't replied to any emails since July. Have saved every email, as I may contact the credit card company. Kim Wood is the lady I have tried to contact, but no luck. Think I will go with a blanket as I don't think I will ever see the shield I ordered. Absolutely the worst. I ordered direct from them and not Summit. If a person keeps checking the Summit site you will see that CSR keeps pushing the expected delivery date later and later. By the way, if they ever reply to an email saying they will give me an update, that never happens either. I started the return process. Now I will see what happens.

It's kind of hard to believe that a Company that offers some of the Finest Quality Components has this type of problem. They have spent time with Design & Engineering what they offer and the fit, finish and operation of their product is very acceptable. This kind of news is not what CSR should be generating, it doesn't make sense. "Customer Service" in general today certainly is not what it once was. Hopefully you will get some resolution to this issue soon. MB

Yes, for those with good memories….CSR (CSI) and their lack of contingency payments has left us with a bitter taste. The worst part of the whole deal is that Rowland Wood (owner) is a racer….Simply UNACCEPTABLE.

I ordered a transmission shield in early August after the new rule came out. They told me they were on back order and it would be mid September before they could get to it. On Monday they told me it was going to production this week and would ship out either Friday or Monday. Hope everything works out and I can give them a favorable review.

Hope is not a strategy. They have for all intents and purposes been out of business for a very long time.
