1. Ed and Jim are trying to maintain the purity of the AMC brand by not allowing alternate OEM parts that the OEM provided NHRA legal objective evidence for its approval, that also happened to correspond to some of the parts shown in the Group 19 catalog. This, with having the knowledge the same has been done with others makes and OEM's. Noted why they will not be interested in seeing the make they seem to cherish, AMC, kick some butt. 2. Billy Nees, goes to his NHRA friends that happens to have influence in the Stock and Super Stock class decisions, and convinces him to rescind the approved parts for which legal documentation was provided for. In the later, I believe is a case of a personal retribution against Jeff because I have never seen Billy put this much effort in getting this done as applicable to Chevy, Ford or Mopar makes.
