Why is it funny? In the past I have seen crankshafts that have been dressed up and the surfaces either polished or treated that the seams cannot be seen.
For a Super Stock GT engine you do not need to go and spend $$$ on a Crower or Bryant crankshaft. There are more affordable crankshafts from other vendors that will do the job and more.
