Dale, you need to submit to NHRA the crank you want to use. Might not have to give them a crank, possible a link to the info about it. Talk to your div tech director about it. He can give you the name & number you need to contact.
Those approved parts are listed there because somebody (racer or mfgr) submited them for approval.

"Constantly looking for smaller and smaller details in our quest for HP..." Yup.
Thanks. I'll save that link. I'm new at this and just want to make sure I understand everything before I drop cash on a part that might get me bounced if I don't get it right. To that end I ask questions. I'll pick a crank and send the info to Glendora. Thanks, Dale

Not trying to be a smart a** but I have to laugh at #8
Dale surely you can contact Crower or Bryant. Personally I would speak with Greg at Rody out of Plymouth Mi Last edited by Damn Yankee; 02-19-2014 at 05:03 PM. |

For a Super Stock GT engine you do not need to go and spend $$$ on a Crower or Bryant crankshaft. There are more affordable crankshafts from other vendors that will do the job and more. |

If Scat makes one, for the money that would be my choice.
