I understand that mistakes happen.....but what's scary is that they haven't corrected it.

I still can't figure out how they managed to mix it up that badly. Was somebody hitting the bottle of whiskey that morning or???
![]() I'm assuming they're talking about GT factors: There's a 346/350/313 (was 305) and a 346/405/405 (was never 305 or 313). Also, I looked at the 2004 Pontiac guide and I couldn't find a Firebird in there, as I expected. What's next, they'll hit the '88 Buick GNX with a few HP? |

I am confused... I thought 2002 was the last year they made Camaro's and Firebird's for a few years until they came back out a few years ago.... I had bought a 2002 Firebird in 2002

It appears that the intent of NHRA was to reduce HP for the Mopar 440-375 HP for a 69 Dodge Dart (stocker) from 350 HP to 345. It is confusing to me in the classification guide (not the first time). In the classification guide, it appears that a steel head is 350 HP. On the line (highlighted) below it indicates that this combo, with aluminum head, is 345 HP ?????? All other Mopar combos get about 5 HP added with aluminum heads, but this one gets a reduction.....any ideas? Maybe I should keep my mouth shut LOL

As far as the camaro/firebird hp it is probably intended for the corvette as there are a few that has been going fast and rated far below their cousins! Look out corvette owners Nhra is coming for you! LOL!!
