It appears that the intent of NHRA was to reduce HP for the Mopar 440-375 HP for a 69 Dodge Dart (stocker) from 350 HP to 345. It is confusing to me in the classification guide (not the first time). In the classification guide, it appears that a steel head is 350 HP. On the line (highlighted) below it indicates that this combo, with aluminum head, is 345 HP ?????? All other Mopar combos get about 5 HP added with aluminum heads, but this one gets a reduction.....any ideas? Maybe I should keep my mouth shut LOL

As far as the camaro/firebird hp it is probably intended for the corvette as there are a few that has been going fast and rated far below their cousins! Look out corvette owners Nhra is coming for you! LOL!!

This is because of the new rule that you can only run combinations that don't exist in classes that don't exist.....
