Would this adjustment also apply to a '72 or '73 Volare?

Michael, that's a pretty creative combination, about as creative as some of the competitor requests that didn't get approved for reductions.

Michael/Jim: A little clarification as that was our request.

We requested the reduction on the 72-73 340 Engine in
SS/GT which is all bodies and not
body specific like Stock or Regular SS.

We race that combo in a Aspen as youy know and it looks
like they put in the "Aspen" on the end. However, It should
apply to any GT Car with that Combo.

We are still going still going to be 266HP as opposed to a
72 or 73 Duster and Demon with same combo in standard
Super Stock which is at 262 HP. As you guys know (Having raced them)
the Aspen is about as AERO as a garage door!

Jon Jr. has got down to the late rounds and has been unable
to run the index causing him to not have much of a shot so we
are grateful for the chance to compete! We have the best parts
we can find (Engine is TWICE as much money as any Stocker engine
we own that is a second under/ Full Pro Trans and everything) and
still we need help. The 50 LBS. give him a chance for him
to race the car in the summer which we could not do very well

Hey John, I was just poking at them listing an Aspen as 72-73 when it should have been GT....you're right about the aero characteristics of the F-Body...and glad you got some relief.

Hope to see you and Jon at the races this summer.

Did anybody notice that the supercharged '14 Cobra Jets have the pulley sizes changed from the '13 version? The '13 has a 3.5", lower hp '14 is 3.375", higher hp '14 is 3". Can run 3 different combos with a pulley change?

It's awesome they added the street engines!
