Being a Pure Stock car, I don't have many close IHRA tracks. The combos in this part of the country, except for Jeff Ross Ohio series aren't real IHRA car friendly. Some, like Ohio Valley in Louisville, allow Crate stockers and SS/Production cars. Nothing else. Bowling Green won't allow IHRA cars at all. Here in Indiana it's a wasteland in regards to class racing, nobody does it. I class my Achieva in the IHRA FWD class but it has yet to sniff the index. Relatively speaking, I haven't spent any real money on it either. Back to the Camaro. If you could find the money to swing it. If you are in proximity to a few IHRA tracks. Buying that car would not be a bad start.
