On my 95 Impala SS
It uses a 4.10 with 26 inch tall tires for racing.
Change to near 28 inch tall street tires to drive home on.
With the 4L60E tranny get near 20 mpg cruising home.

If you Trailer 4.56 with 28 inch tall slick works.
