Weather and altitude wasn't the same, way more cars running down the same track which does not always help traction so how can you compare ET's from testing to the winternationals. Have any national records even been set in PS at Pomona in the past few years?

John Kelley,
Where in the archives on Drag Race Central can you find last years Bradenton times? Please post a link or I would greatly appreciate an email. Thanks, Bill |

Hmmmm...
All I find is the Moroso times for nitro cars......http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...r2011#indextop But I remember a big difference in Pro Stock times from testing and Pomona. I wish I still kept my old National Dragsters. Somebody must have some from last year with the times in them... |

Bradenton Motorsports Park 65ft above sea level
Pomona 1100ft above sea level Add in the different weather conditions and surprise, surprise, no sub 6.5 runs. Allen got tattooed on the tree as well. (.002 to .055) That will lose a race in Pro Stock most weekends when you give 53 thousandths to the guy in the other lane. Surprisingly enough, Vincent's run would have beat everyone else in the round besides Jason Line.
