Nice PR on your dad in the latest Drag Review. Some of the young guys have no idea how he was (and still is, in my mind) a bad dude back in the "good ole days." I never knew you guys used to own the Jimmy Morton/Jeff Taylor car. Tell the whole family I said hello. Doyle |

Thanks Mr. Doyle, I appreciate the nice comments about my dad. Yeah, that was his favorite race car. He talks about it all the time! Everyone here says hello and hopes to see you soon |

Spell's trailer was not a converted horse trailer. It was a car trailer built by a horse trailer company. It was sold locally and several different people owned it.

I wish I had pictures of Jimmy's Hardtop "The Hustler II", the last one he had. I really enjoyed watching him and others here in Div 2 go after the SS/L record. By the way he still has "We Bad" on the back of his camaro. Also, Blaney, in July was the hottest place on earth!!! We literally though the engine fell out, it slowed down so much from the heat! Good times though. Scott W. what happened to you Chevy 2 post car after you? Did it go to Jimmy Bridges or Ronnie Smith?

I sold the SS/K Car to Ronnie Smith and I sold the SS/L car to another racer in Texas and haven't seen it since. As you probably know, Jimmy's Corvette is my old SS/A SS/B car. I can't remember who I sold it to initially or how many people owned or drove it before Jimmy bought it.
