Thumbs up Re: Old photos of your current car.

I wish I had pictures of Jimmy's Hardtop "The Hustler II", the last one he had. I really enjoyed watching him and others here in Div 2 go after the SS/L record. By the way he still has "We Bad" on the back of his camaro. Also, Blaney, in July was the hottest place on earth!!! We literally though the engine fell out, it slowed down so much from the heat! Good times though. Scott W. what happened to you Chevy 2 post car after you? Did it go to Jimmy Bridges or Ronnie Smith?

I sold the SS/K Car to Ronnie Smith and I sold the SS/L car to another racer in Texas and haven't seen it since. As you probably know, Jimmy's Corvette is my old SS/A SS/B car. I can't remember who I sold it to initially or how many people owned or drove it before Jimmy bought it.

No, mine was an '67 L88 that ran in SS/A and SS/B. Ronny Traffanstedt owned it long before I did. Dwight ran his car as a 427/425 in SS/C. He may have run other classes with it as well.

Bob ,those Kinston Dragstrip pics bring back memories.
Little tiny tech booth and scales is were i stayed til race started...
my mom and dad used to take me to the strip and drop me off and come back and get me when race was over.
i used to get in free cause i was the shoe-polish man in tech helping Ted Jones, also helped weigh the cars with the noah's ark scales you see in the pics.....
Man i'm getting old..........
