Even if it were de-factored, what good does that do Mopar? That car wouldn't look nearly as impressive ET-wise as a DP car does and, let's face it, the average guy in the stands doesn't know the difference between a 6.1 DP and a 6.1 SRT8 engine. To them it's just a "Hemi Challenger."

Allow me to paraphrase. "without a distinct advantage, the factory doesn't want to play"
