Dave,

Clean neutral is true neutral and effectively simulates pushing the clutch in on a stick car. On my cars/truck is after 3rd gear, so it can be gotten to safely. Concept is it puts less wear and tear on the engine especially lower end, since you are not engine braking it to slow down. The Turboaction shift plate does work if you have the correct one, but its real tough to do it consistently BY HAND, the PPP shifter you can do by hand all day long without issue.

When adding air shifting, the air shifter market caters to the vast majority of racers that do not have a clean neutral tranny with their Turbo Action Shifter.

If you don't need/want clean neutral it will save you some coin on the valve body, and give you all the options you want for air shift.

Or you can pick your color of your PPP shifter and go that route, they are very nice shifters.
