Stock Eliminator suspension

I thought the string here was about stock. I went back to the NHRA site and found this note in Superstock. In the stock category, there is no allowance for the strut rods with heim joints.
Maybe I missed it ?

Must retain complete stock front-suspension system as
produced by manufacturer for body used. Lift kits/travel
limiters permitted. Sway bar optional. Aftermarket tie rods with
heim joints permitted. Lower control arm may be machined for
larger shock diameter and mount. Strut rods with heim joints
or spherical bearings permitted. Electric shocks prohibited.
