Question Last point to change dial in at NHRA races?

At the National event in Joliet last week there is a sign as you roll out of the staging lanes to turn right and head under the tower which reads "no changing dial-in after this point" or some such thing.

Word is there was at least one car where they changed their dial-in at the point where you are stopped under the tunnel to pull out onto the racing surface. So is there really a spot where you can no longer change the dial-in prior to your burnout?
