Peter, George Case left the track before I could get with him tonight, but I managed to catch Michael Clark at the end of the night. He wants me to call either him or George on Monday to discuss the parking deal. I'll still call you later this weekend.

Smitty, you out there somewhere? What's the latest with JD and that T-bird? Will he make it? How about Slane and Pearson? Would be nice if you could make it over here next weekend even if you aren't competing. We could still do some beer drinking while we get picked on by all these non-Ford racers

I voiced my concern about a possible low turnout next weekend, most likely due to how the Stk & SS racers got ***** on the last two years. Yes, these guys know about it. I even brought up Laura's name...boy that opened a can of worms.."you don't have to tell us how she drove MANY good racers away. She didn't know a damn thing about NHRA - Lucas series policy...and or procedures"

I talked with George Case also and was very impressed with him. It seems like he's one of us. I have talked to few people but haven't gotten any firm yes's. I'll keep trying.

Unsure whether I will be there next weekend. Had to replace 4 batteries and a starter on my big truck. I won't decided until probably Friday I will see Mike tomorroow working on my car at his shop. Jay
