Interest in Modified?

Mr. Davenport, Me and my brother were racing Modified when "They dropped the bomb" on us he hasn't raced since. I've obviously continued however I've not lost the Modified Mentality. I had my ***** handed to me in class run offs the first couple years of running my 6 cyl. combo but I didn't hide or jump class I went home and worked on it, hard to break old habits I guess. I've mostly regarded drag racing as a performance oriented sport, it just seems illogical to me for that to change in class racing.I'd just like to see if there are a few "old farts" like me that would like to have a class where you have to EARN= Qualify your way in thus being "rewarded" for your hard work.
