Default Re: Input or suggestions on Data Aquisition systems

I have seen 4 systems in different types of cars that have all worked well
3 of them have Dashes and downloadable data

Top Sportsman/Super Gas. Edelbrock system and when he started looking at systems he ended up purchasing the Edelbrock system he bought the adavanced racing system (more sensors). was easy to install and it has never let him down

Top Dragster #1 Racepak. Unit works well, he did have an issue with Radio interfearence at the beginning but he did get it fixed.

Top Dragster #2 Comutec system. Cost was a factor. their kit was complete and the unit has worked well since they installed it.

Super Street Car. I bought a Racedata unit. Looks very much like a Computec. I saw it first used in a Top Dragster in Seatlle and talked to the guy most of the weekend. The system works very well. Was priced a little better than what I had seen from Edelbrock,Computec and Racepak.

I run an RPM Performance system "Super Class System" and I like it it seems to do everything I need.(It's less expensive than a racepack)

I will definitely vouch for the Auto Meter. Great product and even better customer service. If we ever have to replace what we have now, it will be another Auto Meter. And as Marc said, they pay contingency and are always in the first 20% of the checks we get.
