We sell a bunch of RacePak systems, and it is hard to go wrong with one of these. They are not the cheapest systems but they are well known and stable. The software is full featured and easy to navigate once you get used to it.

We also sell more and more of the Computech system. It is less expensive and still full featured. And their new dash is very impressive.

Re: Input or suggestions on Data Aquisition systems

I have seen 4 systems in different types of cars that have all worked well
3 of them have Dashes and downloadable data

Top Sportsman/Super Gas. Edelbrock system and when he started looking at systems he ended up purchasing the Edelbrock system he bought the adavanced racing system (more sensors). was easy to install and it has never let him down

Top Dragster #1 Racepak. Unit works well, he did have an issue with Radio interfearence at the beginning but he did get it fixed.

Top Dragster #2 Comutec system. Cost was a factor. their kit was complete and the unit has worked well since they installed it.

Super Street Car. I bought a Racedata unit. Looks very much like a Computec. I saw it first used in a Top Dragster in Seatlle and talked to the guy most of the weekend. The system works very well. Was priced a little better than what I had seen from Edelbrock,Computec and Racepak.

I run an RPM Performance system "Super Class System" and I like it it seems to do everything I need.(It's less expensive than a racepack)

Other users of our new system are Ron Erks, Ray & Dave Connolly, Roger Comstock, Slate Cummings, just to name a few. Both of the Sawyers use our old system & will vouch for our customer service. We also pay contingency at both divisional & national events. If you are interested I can send you all of the info we have along with pricing & user guides. I will definitely vouch for the Auto Meter. Great product and even better customer service. If we ever have to replace what we have now, it will be another Auto Meter. And as Marc said, they pay contingency and are always in the first 20% of the checks we get.

I am a RaceData dealer...the main focus from RaceData was a system that not only exceeds the users expectations, but also fit within the sportsman's budget. The i100 with digital dash is hands down the best bang for the buck!!! Racedata is currently modifying the system with the addition of some very helpful weather data!!!!!!!!!
