Does anyone make a steering shaft for a Vega steering box to a stock 1990 Camaro column using block and pin U joints and moly tubing. Ed Quay made these at one time but no more.

The Vega steering box is not recommended for cars that exceed 3000lbs in weight and that also wheel stand.
Borgeson sells a better steering box and you can use your current steering shaft. https://www.borgeson.com/78-88-Malibu-82-92-Camaro.html They also have a replacement steering shaft. https://www.borgeson.com/G-Body-F-Bo...ing-Shaft.html Last edited by SSDiv6; 05-22-2025 at 06:01 PM. |

The S10 box will bolt right in and use the factory pitman arm, I ran one on my 85 F body for decades. you can buy the joints and make a shaft. I ran the factory shaft on mine.
