Public schools are bias, just about every classroom in America had a picture of Obama, not many had a picture of Trump, that is bias at its best. Thank God my grand daughters go to school at a private Christian Academy. I can't believe that you would think teaching sexual explicit content to 3rd graders is alright. Tell me the teachers unions are not bias. Randy Wells I/S 5628 Last edited by Randy Wells; 06-21-2023 at 09:18 PM. |

I would think that you need to be involved in your local school board as an elected official or the PTA if you have such a strong issue in what is being taught in the classroom. Teachers are given a curriculum that is mandated by the State, it is the teachers responsibility to develop a lesson plan with enabling objectives and terminal learning objectives. Using Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning to move young adults through the learning process. It is not in the best interest of the student and the educational process for a teacher to teach their agenda. With regards to unions, Nevada, as you may or may not know falls under 14B of the Taft-Hartley Act, so I was never a member. |
