Anyone racing a 60-62 Corvette in Stock ?

D1 has a beautiful Fawn '62 in E/S. Abbazia brothers. I think it's a 327/340.

That would be a single 4 PG car?
I might have a set of virgin heads, intake manifold and a tricked carb for that combo.

I can fix ya up. I'm not sure you can run the 4GC but if you can it's faster. I've got both and also a guy who use to run both types of carbs in Super stock who is good on them.
I know I've got the intake and heads also.

No intake # info on Nhra Eng Spec ... what do you have and how do you verify it is correct???

Bub, I know you have been talking to Chris reference to this build. I can't wait to get up there to meet you. I have heard nothing but good about your ability. I spoke to Tex today at Richmond, He also said that you were the man! I got the Carb (4GC or WCFB), intake # (3783244 which is not listed), and head #s (520 & 896) information directly from Wesley Roberson. Thanks, Wade mahaffeymotorsports@hughes.net

Joe, I appreciate your offer to help. I am building a L/SA 60 and the 283 hpr is 230 NHRA rated @ 215 I am being told (by Mr. Wesley Roberson NHRA DIV4 official ) I must use the stock Corvette rear housing (third member type). I am awaiting a ruling on the use of a 12 bolt or olds rear for this build from Mr. Bob Lang thru Mr. Jim Collins DIV 2 Tech Director. You could e-mail me to let me know what you use.....I will let you know what I find out about this....should know something tomorrow while at Richmond.
