Enjoyed that. Never met Len in person but he's did several convertors for us, and they were good ones !

Pretty sure that I still have the copy of Super Stock and Drag Illustrated, which featured Lens Thunderbird when it had the 428 Cobra Jet engine in it. Lens TBird was one of the very first built for the brand new SS "GT" classes, when it debuted at the Winternationals, in , I believe 1984.

If I remember right the centerfold was him doing a big wheelstand. I had it hanging on my college dorm room wall in 1986.
