Len Schneider Winter Nationals Interview
 

This episode features the 1984 Ford Thunderbird of Len and Debbie Schneider. This car competes in NHRA Super Stock GT/KA. It features a 351 Cleveland Ford Engine with a C4 automatic transmission. This interview was conducted at the 2023 Winter Nationals prior to the fourth round. Len had an outstanding performance and made it all the way to the finals in Super Stock.

Neat interview. I talked with Len at Woodburn Divisional last year. Nice guy and easy to talk to. Hope Len and Debbie are up this way again this year and I get a chance to talk with them both, should be fun.

Pretty sure that I still have the copy of Super Stock and Drag Illustrated, which featured Lens Thunderbird when it had the 428 Cobra Jet engine in it. Lens TBird was one of the very first built for the brand new SS "GT" classes, when it debuted at the Winternationals, in , I believe 1984.

If I remember right the centerfold was him doing a big wheelstand. I had it hanging on my college dorm room wall in 1986.
