It's been quite a few years since I tried Goodyear radials.
From what I remember, they may have been a little faster, but I had more inconsistency.
Everyone has their own opinions, but in my opinion, the Hoosiers are tough to beat.

When we were at a tire test we did two back to back tire tests, within a time window and the Goodyear’s on my Cuda were quicker and faster than the Hoosier Radial.
For me besides the great longevity is the ease of the rubber removal from the rear fenders.

You need Daryl to hook you up with some of those mud flaps.

I tried a significantly shorter burnout this morning at World Finals,
But the car exploded the tires immediately. Second pass went back
to regular burn out and no problem. 18 PSI's both passes.

No mud flaps for me it’s to much aero drag. I loose it or gain it .001 of second at a time.

Radials need to be dead hooked with even then increasing pressure right off the hit to work consistently. Basically just like an automatic car leaves. If your car pounds the bias tires hard to make it leave it may not be able to hook radials. Good shocks, sorted suspension and data logging go a long ways.
