Default Re: GT Class: Cold/Ram Air Hoods?

Remember all the advantages of a GT car? This is one of the disadvantages.

We used to have one rating for Ram Air and a different rating for non ram air. It all of a sudden one day disappeared for SS. It is still there in Stock class.

My question are:

1.) What Super Stock rules eliminate the credit for non-ram air, but necessitate it for Stock class? Do they want the GT cars to pay the penalty for Ram Air even though they dont get it in most of the cars?
2.) If a GT car isnt allowed Ram Air, and the engine came with a Ram Air rating do we decrease 5HP?
3.) Many GM cars had "Fresh Air" which is plumed through the front, but not through the hood scoop, can we hook that up if the engine combo came with it?
4.) There seems to be a difference between an Open Hood and hooking up forced induction(by sealing up the RA hood with a functional air cleaner) . Cant seem to find a consistent answer, just like short decks or crank holes.
