Hope your wrong but who knows. As I read it in SS it states "Hood openings and/or hood scoops other than original equipment prohibited." Then for GT it states at the begining of the class "Requirements and specifications for GT class are the same as those for Super Stock classes - Section 10A - with the following exceptions." No exceptions listed for anything related to hood or scoops. I took that to mean if the body was originally equipped with a scoop it could be run in GT. As I said above, I had this confirmed by Jim Collins last year before I started in the car.

Won't really matter to me because I think the motor I will run was available with or without the shaker hood and the HP is the same.
