I had a great Company Commander who was killed in 2004, and our kids were close to the same age and I can't imagine the pain and sorrow they must have felt growing up without a father. My heart heart goes out to them.

Also, I had a cousin killed in Vietnam, he was an only child, I can't imagine the pain and sorrow my aunt and uncle must have felt as well.

And yes also to the one gentleman that mentioned some are "still giving"; as a retired Marine, I know fir a fact many friends of mine are still giving as well as their famiilies.

May God bless them all!
