Best parallel I can think of is watching a PGA pro staring down a putt on the final hole with a potential playoff or 2nd place money on the line.

In the "big money' bracket races the "split" can start as early as the 1/4 finals. Depending on the $$ and the 'players'. Winner still gets a bigger %. Of course I know of some that NEVER split, "banana split"!

Was a great event watched MM all weekend hope this isn't the end of these great idea to combine sat and suns purse due to weather concerns !
