A Stocker of today is really more like a Super Stocker on 9” tires.
More power and rpm than your average SS’er of the past

A real fast SS/JA which was a very popular class 40 years ago went 11.0’s with a roller cam and any intake and big tires. Firestone’s 12.2 x 31.25’s

The same car today running G/SA can go in the 10’s ! With a stock lift solid cam and stock intake !

‘69 Camaro 350/255....

The list of legally allowed parts is a mile long.....
