I use the 4000 and love it. It is a measuring device, not a prediction device. I do that myself. Like Fred says, if you use it for a while you will see that given a DA and a high humidity, you will be slower than the same DA with lower humidity. It's not that your (gasoline) engine is overly sensitive to humidity, it's that the DA is not a perfect statistic for racing. In fact, no one statistic is perfect.
