Maybe he switched to SS/FA when he bought back in?

Billy ,billy, what would you have done if this happened to you.? By some miracle another T/SA shows up and you are paired up with him next round . You have him covered by 4 tenths and he mysteriously changes classes. Now this is hypothetical cause there is no way that this would happen in D 1...... What would you do billy ??

Very incredible story, I guess it shows anything can happen in Vegas.
Just curious, what is the viewpoint of the other driver involved in the non-heads-up race in round 2???

Just curious how the system works regarding how the data gets entered into the computer, I would have assumed that it would automatically pick up on the heads up deal and would override someone attempting to enter a dial in? Assuming the car got entered in a specific class, wouldn't the computer pick up the heads up and not allow for the dial in override? Just asking?

I changed classes as well on my tech card. DRC did not have my class correct either. Guess I was running as well.

According to this, http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...r=100#indextop
It appears he won round one as a SS/FA. Looks to me like it was just a wrong class entry on DRC in round one. |

Does your source work in the tower? Have them come on here and tell us what happened. He may have had SS/GA on his window in round one, but that doesn't mean he was teched into SS/GA. You really think his opponent in round 2 would have said "OK, go ahead and run F, no problem." And as Jim Caughlin said the computer wouldn't have allowed any dial-unders if they were in the same class.
