Art, do you know if Walter still has the Challenger, I haven't seen him in twenty years or so, Paul.

I going to answer all the questions. I'm just busy right now. Finally got the motor and trans in.
Also I'm going to move this over to the lounge. I don't want to hijack Heavy's passing.
And my old stories aren't related to class racing.
I'll post here when I'm going to answer. Probably later today or tomorrow.

Art, which car were the Smallwood Bros running at the time? What did you race them with?

Whoops. Sorry, I wasn't paying attention that this was still Heavy's thread. I'll ask the question again in another thread.

Can anyone identify all the guys in this pic? I'll start:

Second from left, Jim Carney.

Fourth from left, Carmen Rotunda.

Seventh from left, Brooklyn Heavy.

Furthest to the right, Brooklyn Heavy's dad

Pete

Third from right I believe is Heavy's grandfather.

Sixth from left is (again, not entirely certain) Levi Holmes.

Dan.
I saw him at CT Dragway...labor day weekend race-1971. Reason I remember this was
track announcer said Garlits qualified at Indy at 6.21...don't know why I recall this...
Remember a hot, muggy day in East Haddam...

Thanks for the info. I think that's Levi too. Btw, I started a Brooklyn Heavy thread in the Nostalgia Stock and Super Stock section:
