At true legend, and a real charecter that brought personality to the classes in his day.I have heard some great stories of Heavy's antics with his entire convoy of race cars running his name.People who spoke to him recently said he still loved the sport both on the street and at the track. He will be missed.

Ed
Met Heavy a long time ago at Rotundas Speed Shop in Bloomfield NJ a very long time ago. |
Re: Rufus Boyd aka Brooklyn Heavy passes.
Eddy (Google Eyes) and Freddy had Heavy's 1969 Camaro sitting in front of their shop in Wantagh for years and wouldn't let anyone near it. It was an Orange SS Camaro. They were waiting for Heavy to get out of the envirement he was in. Heavy and Freddy, rest in peace.

I think I have some pictures of Heavy at Connecticut Dragway.
If I find them I will scan them and post 'em. Dan. |
