Technically, they only withdrew from North American drag racing. They are still spending a lot of money in the Arabian Drag Racing League (in Qatar). Khalid Al Balooshi apparently set the world record in Pro Mod on Feb 5th in Qatar. They may have just been doing some information gathering over here.

For everything or just the fuel teams? I could see 8.3 mil a year for 2 fuel teams and all the Pro Mod/Alcohol stuff they were involved in.
