Whole lot of pages here and no mention, save Al Segers photos, of one of the early killers with Olds, John Troxell.
The National Record certificates and class win trophies from these cars covered the walls of his shop.
The coupe is now the late Johnny Williams' Cajun Nightmare car.

WOW!! NEVER SEEN THIS PHOTO OF THE WAGON BEFORE!! I got the coupe picture. I thought the coupe was owned by Ron McHugh's brother Kevin?

Al, thats me at 18 in the Hooker T shirt.
I spent a lot of my "wasted youth" working on the Olds' and others with Jack.
Johnny told me it was Jack's car.

I believe Ron bought it from Jack , after that I don't know I till Johnny got it.
Dave Ley may know more of its history in between.

Yeah that makes sense. Ron also got Paul Mayo's white W-30 convertible.

I remember all of them , used to go to the shop every night to work on them.
That picture of the flat roof wagon was taken right down the street from my current shop .it's the front of a Junior High School , Jack drove the car down the road from his house for it .
Same road that all the cars got tested on !

So you remember this above convertible Troxell built? I think Dick Griffin bought the wagon and this car above off Troxell at Indy. Also got the flat top wagon off him?

Kevin did own the coupe for a while.
