Some racers don't build their own engines and do not have the mechanical ability to go through the tear down procedure. Mike you nailed it for me. I love racing but I'm not that good at the mechanic side of things. This totally scared me off from class racing plus the cost of traveling in the division. So I became an bracket racer, same driving skill set and I get to race almost weekly. But I still like to keep up with y'all and hope to give it a try again someday.
