Thumbs down Re: I wonder if this includes COPO's? LOL

My piece of junk 2010 Corvette has the lag in the go pedal also. The Vette Catalogs have a fix for it (for over $300) but why in the hell dosent Detroit make it work right in the first place. I will NEVER buy a new one again. Give me a 66-67 or a pre 1971 muscle car instead any day. At least I can take one of the old vettes apart and put it back together blindfolded ! The new junk is CRAP and its almost impossible to work on ! Even the dealerships cant fix'em. Thank goodness my Harley has a carb and a cable throttle.

Gosh! I thought it was just ME!! The old nerves connecting the head bone to the knee & foot bones not working. I never realized it was actually the truck that wasn't working right.

I often can not get that throttle response quick enough to suit guys. There are tables in the calibration controlling that, but maxed out it will never feel like a cable operated throttle.
If you race one like that, with a couple of key strokes you can limit how far it opens.
Electronic throttle stop. Set it to whatever % opening you want to slow it down to work the AHFS.

Maybe part of the factory race car package should be a real gas pedal with a cable to the throttle body. Considering they are deleting the IRS and installing Powerglides, this part should be easy.

All COPO's and CRC cars are cable driven Throttle bodies.
