I often can not get that throttle response quick enough to suit guys. There are tables in the calibration controlling that, but maxed out it will never feel like a cable operated throttle.
If you race one like that, with a couple of key strokes you can limit how far it opens.
Electronic throttle stop. Set it to whatever % opening you want to slow it down to work the AHFS.

Electronic throttle is junk. You never take off the same way twice and if the tires spin the traction control kills the engine. Not a good feeling when a car is coming up behind.
Used to be nice with a throttle cable you just lifted the gas pedal a little and kept going.

Nothing wrong with the Camaro switches...it's just the placement. The Cobalt switches could not tolerate the 5 pounds of crap many people commonly attach to their key ring.

The last recall is a total joke. I have a 2014 Camaro 1LE SS, and I physically cannot hit the key with my knee, no matter how I try. You basically have to adjust the wheel so it is right in your lap, by either telescoping it all the way out, or moving the seat way up. Then you have to take your right foot way up off of the gas pedal, and catch the key just right with your knee, causing it to turn.

So, this begs the question..................why would you ever be behind the wheel of a car while it is in motion, and proceed to take your right foot way up off of the gas pedal? Sometimes these "recalls" are just attempts at preventing some frivolous lawsuits that are bound to happen by money grabbing idiots all over.
