The World Footbrake Challenge has been in mid-July every year and happens to pull in 400+ cars. "Hot" never used to be an excuse. I've seen tracks packed in 120+ heat index.

The WFC is typically in the mid-low 80's. Going back 10 years, there's only been a handful of days that have even cracked into the 90's at Bristol in July.
