You need to try it this way.

The heaviest 65 Malibu is 3115 while the heaviest Malibu SS is 3350 with a big block 396. (You did not go on down to the rest of the 65 Chevelle section.)

The first thing to do is subtract the allowable 250 from the shipping weight for the lightest weight. Then divide the horsepower into that number.

3115 - 250 = 2865/200 = 14.32 (car cannot go to top of class)

2865 + 170 for driver = 3035 in GT/M
