I'm not real sure about that. I race with a full face helmet, but don't even have the shield on it when I run super gas, or super stock. Even not in super comp unless I was driving a dragster or altered. I go thru tech at every race I attend with no shield on the helmet

Just re looked at the rule book and what it says it shields permitted, does not say required. Jack, If someone is enforcing it, I would want to know why if I was you

Screwed up part about that is how many times have we seen a top fuel or funny car driver lifting their visor, or unbuckling, yet never hear about a fine for them. I remember seeing some of them win the race and stand up in the car as its still rolling down the track. No fine.

The in car videos make it appear that they are shifting to N after the stripe. Are these all clean neutral valve bodies?

Finally got the Volare squared away, getting the fuel rail to quit leaking, and changing the shifter cable -- which was so much of a nightmare you wouldn't believe it if I told you. As Sal put it, "You were looking pretty rough yesterday morning!" No doubt! We even had some fan/water pump issues on the first run with Terry's usually trouble-free Dart Sport. But by the end of Q2, had both cars where we needed to.

Redman rode by and said we can put 'em up... S/SS are done for the day.
