Congrats Larry and crew! Knowing this 360 combination, NHRA should rate the new chevy 350 at 250 hp!!!

No, they should make the 360, 350hp.

Why not rate all of them what they really can produce? Engine builders must submit the Dino results to NHRA for every motor. Then people couldn't whine that so and so has a soft combo.

You can't rate motors on how much hp they make, because different engine builders can take the same motor and make more or less hp. You have to rate them based on their potential. There are any number of people who visit this site who are capable of this. All you have to do is look at the specs , including cam, compression, size, carb or throttle body, head flow, and any number of things.

This isn't the same game it was 10 years ago. If you want to go fast, you need a newer car. There are plenty of them out there so your going to need to bust your butt to beat the other new super cars. Congrats on a fine, well-respected SS/IA Indy class win.

It's not the same because Nhra refuses to fairly rate these new crate motors. It doesn't take a genius to rate these motors. When you intentionally rate these motors 50-75hp too low this is what happens.

Agreed Greg! Lets get one thing straight here. It's not Lloyd or Larry's, or anybody else running this combo's fault that it's so bogus! It's NHRA's! So cudos to those who run it and, most of all, take care of the combo from getting horsepower!

Too bad some that run my combo, and the new one I am having built, can't do the same! I guess it's just too much fun going a second under on a bye run or red light!
